Sending my love and prayers to all who knew and loved this great man.
Rest in Peace.

From an earlier post:
There are times when I feel so lucky to be doing what I do, and right now is one of those times.
Last month Sarah (the bride from my latest wedding) called me up to tell me her Grandfather who is terminally ill would not be able to attend the wedding, so she asked me if I could go to him and capture some special moments with her Daughter and Grandfather . Sarah prepped me before I arrived about the special relationship between Grandad (as everyone calls him) and Chaeli.
When I saw Chaeli run down the stairs Grandad’s face was beaming and everything else appeared forgotten for this moment in time. The love between these two was evident in every shot taken. Honestly, I looked at them through tears the first few times. I felt so honored to capture this beautiful girl spending time entertaining her handsome Grandad, and being able to walk away with special memories frozen in time for their family.
Soon after I arrived Chaeli’s Grandmother told me Sarah had picked out all of Chaeli’s outfits, however Chaeli had plans of her own
Chaeli, loves loves loves Indian Jones, and informed me her name for the day was Indiana Jooney, and she was going too put together her best mismatched outfits. Indiana Jooney’s outfits never looked so fabulous as they did on this special day!
P.S. Don’t forget to turn your sound on!!

A year ago I received an email…a couple who are currently serving our country in the US Navy were looking for a photographer. A few short weeks later I would meet Sarah & Ben when they both came home on leave before Ben was to be shipped out for 9 months. Right by her mothers side was beautiful little Chaeli whose smile could light up a room!! The engagement photos we got that day were so touching. Ben’s love for Sarah & Chaeli was evident in every shot.
Sarah had a pretty bad break and infection in her foot just weeks before the wedding that she has been trying to deal with. You would never guess the pain she must have been in, but instead you see the beauty and grace which is Sarah. Somewhere along the way it changed from client to friend, and so to see this family become one was truly a joy for me and all the others who celebrated with them on their special day! Thank you Ben & Sarah for choosing me to capture your families beginning as I am sure you will all have a beautiful and loving life together.
XOXO, J

I am so excited to share this unforgettable wedding!!
Jon & Jenny are truly amazing as was every last detail of their wedding day. This Scottsdale couple decided to go north to Juniper Well Ranch to celebrate their wedding with friends, and family. Tucked up in the mountains of northern Arizona just outside of Prescott sits Juniper Well Ranch. Granite rocks dot the mountainside, 1000 yr old junipers offering their shade, beautiful cabins…..GORGEOUS! It was the perfect location for this laid back couple whose love for each other was so evident throughout the day. One of many great moments was when Jon sang to Jenny during the ceremony. I don’t think there was a dry eye there! Jenny has been blessed with so much talent (look at that gorgeous dress SHE made!!), and an amazing smile that I don’t think left her face all day!!
Jon & Jenny it was truly a pleasure to be a part of your day, I wish you all the happiness in what I am sure will be a beautiful life together.
XOXO, J
